Weather was beautiful crew very attentive , captain was professional and knowledgeable. Our only complaint was the food. Room temperature and over cooked chicken . No excuse for that. Entertainment was also wonderful.

We were all wonderfully surprised at how relaxing this cruise was from the minute it left the dock. The staff was friendly, the service exceptional and the food was very good. We plan on taking another cruise this fall!

so where to begin ---- boarding was easy - but was pretty much left to passengers to sort out as two lines developed - each entering the same portal , most passengers accommodated each other ---- the bell left exactly on time and staff was there to take beverage orders . the band was very good and took up where the captain fell down, reservations were in place for meals on the 1st deck. the capt made it clear she was not narrating anything about the canal so there was no educational purpose to the trip --- and that was a huge let down my lady knows very little about it but is eager to learn - so now we are at a dinner cruse - not even knowing anything about the town we turned around in for return trip (pittsford) nothing of old canal , roads or bridges -------- nothing. the meal --- i had chicken parm - pasta was acceptable - salad was actually good. parm was beyond description - about 50% was so hard it could not be cut if i bought this elsewhere it would have bee returned - no drink, no desert --- bar was open most of trip and they had a bartender that knew her stuff - bar was also well stocked - if expensive (to be expected) at end of trip captain broke her silence asking we tip her crew as w disembark and tip the band as well noting they make very little pay ---- would i go again -- with my lady yes - but no dinner -- not ever, and i would want capt that is at least interested in her boat, the history of the canal and her passengers --- enough to narrate baring that --NO

Wonderful narration while on Erie Canal ride. It was a rainy day so we really appreciated the covered seating with lots of windows on the main floor. It was great to have a hot cup of coffee served and others had wine and stacks. The bathroom was small, of course, but very clean and convenient during the trip. Our trip was during the day but I am thinking that the trips with music and dinner must be wonderful too. I can not get over how nice the captain was to tell us so much while we had a relaxing ride.

This was fun and informative. The boat captain explained, early on, the importance of low bridge, heads down. She narrated most of the trip up to Lock 32 & 33; there was less narration on the way back as she had covered things on the way up.Lunch was fair; 4 of sandwich, pasta salad from a grocery store, and a cookie that had melted due to the heat. Definitely not worth the $20; eat before your trip as you are NOT allowed to bring on food or drink.
