Forget your diets when you enter Nick Tahou's, a legendary restaurant of Rochester which has been in operation since 1918. Inaugurated by the current owner's grandfather and named after the current owner's father, this restaurant is famous across the State of New York for their mean Garbage Plate. Do not get apathetic towards the unappetizing name, because this dish has a proven track record of converting the most ardent health advocates with its red and white hots, chicken tenders, eggs, baked beans, and hamburger infused plates of mac & cheese. The plate is doused in house sauces and arrives in the company of bread and butter. Though, the Garbage Plate is one of the fattiest dishes served in the state, it is Rochester's tradition and comes highly recommended.

MoreI was going to go there, but saw the sign welcoming gun carriers. I don't want to get shot while eating a garbage plate because someone got cut in line.
