Beautiful venue. I have been to many productions and recitals here. A great place for students to show off their talents and their semester-long hard work.

Beautiful venue on the campus of Nazareth College. Awesome shows....quite diverse. Great price points. I hear that Eddie Money may be launching his musical here in 2017. We'll be looking for that, if the rumors are true.

Went to this theater to see a fantastic performance of Austin's Pride. It was outstanding. Actors, Music a very enjoyable event. Only problem was no air conditioning and they made a joke that it was 1821 . The staff tried but it was over 100 degrees in this theater they should have more than offer water. We were on a bus trip so could not leave . The play however was so good it almost was worth the heat.

The Good; saw a magic show at the Callahan theatre. very nice facility, nice seating with good views of the stage. The Bad; small lobby made for congestive crowds at intermission The Ugly: some woman decides to get on her cell phone in the lobby and obviously upset with her child's grandparents proceeds to yell and swear at them at the top of her lungs. She tells them they really are not grandparents at all. Thanks lady, enjoy the show...hey magic Mike can you make her disappear?

I was stopping by the campus to waste some time and see if their were any new Arts Exhibits. The smaller arts gallery (Colacino) was closed at this time but the Arts Center Gallery has an amazing glass exhibit from a local artist Eunsuh Choi (does glass work at the Arc and teaches at Brockport). This is an amazing exhibit of glass work that looks so beautiful and seems so fragile. The light coming in through the big outside windows does a nice job lighting the exhibit. This exhibit runs thru November 20th. This is a very nice space to view art and feel free to walk over to the library which has some art on the walls. Right now it is a photography exhibit dedicated to Thomas Merton and the Thomas Merton Room is pretty cool. The Callahan Theatre is nicely set up and brings in some interesting talent. I have seen some opera performances here as well as a few concerts (including Leahy, Capitol Steps and Lady Blacksmith Mambazo) which were all wonderful. The small venue has great seats and you are never that far from the stage so you get good sight lines and sound in every seat. Parking is decent in the front lot, esp for later shows and there is an elevator so you don't have to walk the stairs. Nazareth did a great job building this venue and the theatre and main art gallery are very well laid out. The lower level has two smaller theatres that run some student performances.
