Class park has an ice rink, tennis courts and a huge swimming pool. There is a 2 mile walking trail which is connected to the black diamond trail that you can take to bicycle toTaughannock park. There is a dog park and a marina close by. There are picnic tables and grills available most times. Near by, the town has a pavilion for rent for special occasions. Since it is located on the Cayuga inlet and also the south end of Cayuga lake there is water access for boating. Unfortunately there is no swimming there other than the pool.

This is a can't be missed location if you're trekking on the Black Diamond or Waterfront Trails. It's the hub of the northwest edge of town and has many wonderful miles of inlet views along the trail in the park. Check it out.

Cass park is an amazing city park. So much to do, so much green space, and easily accessible. We go there all the time to ride bikes, play at the children's garden, or just to spend some time watching boats on the inlet.

While it is a nice park and certainly enjoyed by all, the history it represents is long gone. Still fun to walk around.
