

Sacred Heart Elementary School, operational for more than 100 years, is a parish school that serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. It is one of the oldest and largest Catholic schools in Pittsburgh. Sacred Heart Elementary School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The elementary school s curriculum includes art, computer applications, language arts, math, physical education, religion, science and social studies. Additionally, the school provides classes in spelling, Spanish and instrumental music. Sacred Heart Elementary School also supports the English as a Second Language program. The school also publishes a newsletter.
