October 31, 2026 was my wedding anniversary and I wanted to do something different this year. So I decided to stay local. I live in Boston and I have access to all types of hotels but a friend recommended the Porter Square Hotel so, I went for it. What a perfect choice. The location was perfect. The hotel staff were personable. The Hotel was close to nice resturaunts and the room was very nice. Romantic if you will. My wife and I loved it and I look forward to returning back soon. What a pleasant surprise. The staff recommended a cuban restaurant called Gustazo. OMG the restaurant was amazing. I have plenty of points with the Mrs... If you are ever looking for a romantic boutique hotel , please consider this one. Excellent time. A must stay. Also, I mentioned that it was my wedding anniversary, and they provided 2 bottles of Prosecco and a gift basket with caramel popcorn, chocolates, and shortbread. What a nice treat!!!! The location was perfect. The staff very friendly. The room was very clean. I will definitely stay there again

Sweet little hotel with a great location to the metro station. The rooms are a bit tiny but everthing what you need. We used the valet parking for 28 dollars per day which is a great price for Boston. They were very helpful with our pick up truck which could not be parked in their own garage. So they used their second hotel nearby.

So happy I chose this hotel! Near Harvard! They hold your luggage! There was carpet in the room, 2 waters, nice shower, tissue box, view was nice, desk, huge tv, coffee maker with special cream, plugs by bed, brightness, and the quilt was fabulous! It was quaint and small, but perfect! Great communication with staff before I arrived! They even recommended a tour which I loved! Everything was perfect except one thing! As I arrived to check in, no one was there for 15 minutes in the early evening! Not counting that, I highly recommend staying here, it was wonderful!!!

Overall great experience. Staff were wonderful. Hotel updated. My only draw back was the mattress was too firm for my liking but you can’t please everyone lol. The T stop was very close making it convenient to get around. A lot of nice restaurants and bars close .
