Like most downtown older city hotels this hotel is dated. Rooms are small. My wife hit her leg 6-7 times on king bed base due to size of room. Great location forMD Anderson medical center and rice college but not the best hotel. Breakfast is adequate but over priced. Mostly face food restaurants within walking distance. Hose restaurant and bar is nice. I had an incident with dirty bedding. Talked with the hotel manager on duty. Her demeanor seemed more dismissive than genuine concerned. She offered an adjustment which I haven’t seen yet. staff very friendly and courteous. I’m sure there are much better hotels.
MoreMy recent visit to the Hilton Plaza in Houston, Texas was very enjoyable. Joby was most helpful while checking in. My sister is a patient at MD Anderson and Joby was able to answer our questions regarding the shuttle service. We ordered takeout food at the Herb and Kitchen (located in the lobby). The food was delicious and I highly recommend it. As a former high school math teacher, I give Joby and the Hilton Plaza an A+.
MoreSuch a great location, so convenient to MD Anderson Medical center.. Beautiful view from our suite on the 16th floor .Joby was so helpful with our check in experience. I definitely recommend .
MoreThe pool area is great. Very spacious rooms. Helpful reception. Good location for the various Hospitals and clinics. There is a free shuttle service every 30 minutes to take you anywhere within two miles.
MoreThe premises was clean and my room was clean, comfy and upgraded. I had an amazing pool view and I received the best customer service ever. Also, Ashley made sure my visit was exceptional!
