tripadvisorI drove by yesterday and there is a tall fence surrounding the property and it appears there is some type of renovation going on. I hope they can save this retro looking structure. This is located in an interesting area bordering on Oklahoma city asia town with the milk bottle building and vietnam war memorial nearby. Asian grocerys and restaurants along with other restaurants. I am sure there are other things of interest if you have time to explore
MoreI would not build a trip to this thing. Building is not open. Lots is usually blocked off. So going by to see it quickly and that's it. But it is very cool looking, remember Giant milk bottle across the street, two quick ones in a visit.
MoreWhen driving along Route 66, near 23rd and Classen, you cannot help but notice the Gold Dome. This golden wonder is not far from the milk bottle icon along Route 66, so you can check out both along the way.
MoreIt’s cool when you read the history but now it just looks run down. You can’t go inside (in fact some woman in there made a massive point of locking the doors when she saw us looking which was a bit rude) and the area around it isn’t great. We sat and ate our lunch here then drove on.
MoreThis is an amazing, vintage building!!!! I wish somebody would/could step in and save it. Absolutely stunning!
