The staff is always courteous, kind, and willing to help. The theater is always clean. The professors are supportive and fantastic! I saw someone post about the cost of the Nutcracker Tickets going up in the past. The Northwest Florida Ballet is a professional and pre-professional dance company that presents the Nutcracker. NFB hires professional guest artists for the major roles. NFB has to rent the Mattie Kelly Arts Center and all costs, unfortunately, have risen. I hope this clarifies that concern. I hope that everyone continues to support Northwest FL Ballet as it is a non-profit organization.

The Mattie Kelly Arts Center, a complex of theaters, galleries, and an outdoor amphitheater, is a Panhandle gem. Centrally located in Niceville, the venue should be at the top of your list of places to go to see a performance from anywhere between Pensacola and Panama City.As a visitor here for an extended stay, I have seen Almost Abba and Sesame Street Live. If a resident, I would find a show to attend at the theater at least monthly. Taking in a performance in this comfortable and climate-controlled venue is a great way to beat the oppressive heat during the summer months.The staff and volunteers seem cheerful and happy to be assisting guests. When a member of our group encountered someone sitting in one of our assigned seats, the volunteer quickly resolved the issue very tactfully.The Box Office team members who sell tickets during regular business hours and when shows are running are very pleasant. Be sure to purchase your tickets directly from the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Box Office, which can be done in-person, by phone, or online from their designated ticket seller, rather than from a third party that will jack up prices and add fees.Parking is ample, convenient, and free.College towns offer many amenities to residents. The Mattie Kelly Arts Center is one of the best examples that I have seen!

I can't believe how much Nutcracker tickets have gone up. It's not New York's Broadway. Guess we won't be going anymore.

Great venue for live theatre and concerts. The season choices are varied to suit everyone's tastes and you can buy tickets for individual events. The seating is comfortable and the ushers are very helpful. Good views from every seat! Sound system is very good. Good recommendation for quality live entertainment.

Great parking easy access great seating and very accessible for ADA. The show was great and the exit was very smooth . Road are great to and from the Mattie Kelly.
