My wife and I loved the tour. He is very knowledgeable. He gets his info from historical documents. This is the only unscripted tour in town. Ignore the bad reviews.

I booked a tour for October 26 at 7:30 two weeks before we arrived in Gettysburg. Two days before our trip they called me and said they couldn’t accommodate my 7:30 tour and moved me to the 9:00 tour. Jacob our tour guide was more interested in telling us about his gun and his personal drinking binges. Our guide then told us that when it comes to having lots of children, “the Irish are worse than Mexicans.” We walked away from the tour at that point. Our guide was uninteresting and unprofessional. Stay away from this tour.

Well Jacob certainly looked the part to be a legitimate tour guide but that's where his credibility stops. I've been to Gettysburg every year for the last 5-6 years and honestly I've been on almost evey tour this town has to offer. With that being said theres was about 5 or 6 inaccuracies in Jacob's tour. Now there were somethings that Jacob said that I NEVER heard BUT who knows if they are correct as he was incorrect on other things. For a GETTYSBURG tour guide I couldn't believe the unprofessionalism and inaccuracy of this guide. I DO NOT recommend this tour with Jacob. Seriously, go on any other tour but this one.

Took the tour with my wife. Jacob did a great tour. He was knowledgeable and interesting. I highly recomend.

Great ghost tour! Unscripted which I like, you don’t hear the same things over and over. Jacob was very good and he knows his history. He also shared his own experiences which made it interesting. Highly recommend it.
