Just an amazing place. The Christmas decorations were really nice, the staff were very helpful considering how busy they were.

If you love books do not miss this place. The quantity is overwhelming. Luckily, of the owners took me to the area I was most interested in and made suggestions on what could read.

If you need a book please stop here!! They have got a load of all types of books. Jim is a real nice guy. Tucked around another building. Plenty of parking.

This place is huge and packed with books, collectables and cool little finds. I would plan to spend some time here as there is truly something for everyone here. You should talk to the owner who is there most of the time, he can help you find just about anything! Plus they have events throughout the year, the biggest one being in August called the Cigar Box Guitar Festival. It is an all day event and there are lots of people who come from all over the world. Not to mention there are usually other events on the same weekend which makes it one of the best times to visit York.

It appears like a small dinky building from the entrance but once your inside it opens up to a huge cavernous space filled with used books, videos, cd's, some antiques, comics, posters and an odd assortment of stuff. I can spend a few hours getting lost in the rows of ever changing stuff. Its just a fun place to go and spend some time browsing. Prices are great and selection unsurpassed.
