tripadvisorThe acting and audio was good. We sat in the back row stage right and I didn't think the price of the tickets for those seats were worth it, even though they were discounted from the better seats. Maybe some of that was because there were five of us so it really added up. It was more difficult to get into the storyline when we could see all the entrances and exits of the actors. They did their best to have some characters facing us but we missed a lot of the forward-facing expressions and it was odd being able to see the expressions of the audience members across from us so well. There was one portion of the play where the people stage left had the main character's back to them and I was glad we weren't on that side. Being in the back row, there was only a black curtain between us and the actors backstage so even though they were trying to be really quiet it was distracting during the play being able to hear all their little sounds right behind your head. We assumed being in a small conservative area that the play would be family friendly and did not do our homework to know ahead of time how the content would be. We left at intermission because of that, as did a handful of others. Later I saw they had sent an email a day or so before the show with a notice that it might not be suitable for all audiences but we were travelling so I hadn't checked my emails. Not sure if there was a notice about content that I missed when purchasing the tickets. We would only go back for a family friendly show and if we had seats in front of the stage. The actors did great and the sound quality was really good.
MoreThe play, The Man Who Came to Dinner was superb. This is a fantastic venue. All seats are terrific. Highly professional. If you are in the area, check it out. If you live near by, don't let this treasure slip by you.
MoreAll the employees were nice. Not a bad seat in the house. Bathrooms were very clean. They also have a little snack bar.
MoreFantastic show! Took our grandchildren who are almost teenagers and we all loved it! It is like theatre in the round.... Will go again!!
MoreWent to see the Wizard of Oz with my Hubby’s company....I was very pleasantly surprised. The actors who played the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion were excellent...they stole the show! Looking forward to seeing another show in the new year.
