tripadvisorThis is a cute little shop. They have a nice small selection of various glass items. The glass is beautiful, the only problem is that it’s a small place.
MoreI have been on the search for a simple, lovely wedding cake topper. I wish I had chose to go Art & Glassworks FIRST. I wasted time and money with a poor quality order from the internet and some mediocore choices at the local craft stores.. I inquired about a cake topper and Karin sent me a note to immediately telling me to contact her. Today I went down to the store and purchased a handblown glass wedding cake topper that was PERFECT! I think this is a great reminder to think and shop local FIRST. These stores rely on our purchases to keep them going. This is also an excellent stop for special gifts for birthdays, etc.
MoreMy husband and I were visiting the 300 Queen St. block of Lancaster, PA for the first time, when we stopped into the Art and Glassworks boutique. There was a selection of beautiful pottery, hand made stained glass windows and jewelry. My husband collects marbles and was happy to see that there were some on display. Speaking with the owner of the business, we learned quite a history about the origin of the various marbles. After making a few purchases, the owner even offered to deliver the package personally for us at our hotel as we were on our way to a restaurant for dinner. When asked about suggestions for other restaurants, as well as places to visit while we were in town, she labeled a map for us with the recommendations. Along with the beautiful purchases, we were so appreciative of the great customer service!
MoreFor 29 years I have enjoyed the jaw dropping beauty of Karen's talent with stained glass, hand blown glass globes and other gorgeous items for your home! Very few can top the quality and beauty she creates in her lamps, windows and decorative pieces! Her work is exceptional. So if you are in the Lancaster, PA area or searching for an exquisite piece this is the studio to check out for sure!
MoreThis is a really fun store to browse around in IF you are not afraid of breaking something. There are items in here in all price ranges. My son (age 13) bought a worry stone and I bought a small tablet for a birthday gift. The store is chock full of items -- glassware of every kind, jewelry, fun stuff for the home. The owner was lovely and told us all about other fun things to do downtown. Check them out on First Friday or anytime you're downtown.
