I was specifically looking for a facial that would be effective for my skin while also providing a spa experience and Citron Spa certainly hit the mark. As soon as you arrive (I went on a Sunday and there was plenty of street parking) there's a very quiet, calm vibe. I was surprised at how small the spa is, but it really just makes your experience feel that much more personal. You're guided to an adorable changing area and given a basket with a wrap, robe, and sandals. I was hesitant for the infrared sauna (not a huge fan of dripping sweat in a fog of humidity) but it's a totally different experience. I'm not exactly sure how the magic of infrared works, but it was heavenly. Once my sauna session finished, I was met by Brianna who brought me to the treatment room. I had the 90 minute Signature facial - which was excellent - and included a hand, foot, and scalp massage. I didn't get to spend time in their lounge but hopefully next time - I can see how this would be a nice place to book a day with a friend. While this was a treat for me (as they are on the pricier side) and it's most likely not realistic to return monthly, I certainly will be back in the near future!

I had the most wonder treatments at Citron Spa. Sovannie was AMAZING! I started with the Glo Anti-aging 90 minute facial which was incredibly luxurious. It included red light therapy and an arms and feet massage. Wonderful!! My skin I don't think has ever felt more glowing and alive. Next I had the brow lamentation, lash lift, and brow and lash tint. My brow lamentation results were nothing short of spectacular. I really didn't even believe they were my brows. They are full and thick and with the tint - I am over the moon. The lash lift made my lashes curl up beautifully and combined with the tint looks like I have perfectly applied mascara on lashes that look like they did when i was in college. ( A very long time ago.) I am not a normal spa person - it's hard for me to make the time. Well today made me a convert. I will make the time. The owner Christina clearly is passionate about what she does and she has created an environment that is so welcoming with treatments that give results I saw immediately. I feel certain that everyone that works at Citron Spa is terrific but it was Sovannie that gave me brows I never dreamed possible. Citron Spa is conveniently located off of Wayland Square.
