Founded in 1989, Macungie Elementary School serves more than 500 students in grades one through five. The school hosts sessions in music, art and physical education. It offers Title I and gifted and talented programs. Macungie Elementary School features a library that houses a selection of books and reference materials. The school also provides guidance counseling, academic support and speech therapy services. It maintains a parents, teachers and children group that organizes various fundraising and volunteer programs. Macungie Elementary School offers after-school dance classes. The school is governed by the East Penn School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
