I cannot say enough wonderful things about Natural Habitat Adventures. I joined in on their Churchill polar bear exploration. It fulfilled a lifelong dream of mine in an upscale and very fun adventure. The guides were excellent. Drivers were excellent. The cooks were excellent. I loved it through and through.

We recently traveled with Natural Habitat Adventures on their Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce trip and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The itinerary was very well planned and gave us a great mix of hiking, wildlife, geology, and time to appreciate the spectacular scenery in each of the parks. Our leaders, Toni and Laura, were outstanding. They were extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and professional, and they worked together seamlessly. Throughout the trip they shared interesting information about the parks, wildlife, geology, and natural history, both while we were hiking and during the drives between destinations. Their enthusiasm was genuine and added a lot to the experience. The hikes through the parks were a major highlight for me, as was the helicopter excursion. Seeing these landscapes from the ground and then from the air gave us two very different perspectives and made the trip especially memorable. I also really appreciated Nat Hab’s strong emphasis on conservation and sustainability, which was evident throughout the trip. The accommodations were very nice overall and well located, and the vans were extremely comfortable. Toni and Laura were also excellent drivers, which made the travel between parks easy and enjoyable. If I could change one thing, I would add another day to the itinerary, particularly to allow more time in Zion. There is so much to see there that I would have enjoyed having a little more time to explore.Overall, this was another excellent Nat Hab experience. The combination of beautiful destinations, a well-organized itinerary, and two terrific leaders made this a very memorable trip. I would happily travel with Toni or Laura again.

We traveled to Churchill to see belugas in August, 2026. We spent a couple of extra nights in Winnipeg before the trip. The hotel is well located and it's close and easy to walk to The Forks (always entertaining) and to walk along the river.Nathan does sort of define included charter flights as we make the reservations and get you there but you still have to pay extra, it is an amazing experience. I could get used to having our own very nice bus drop us off on the tarmac at the foot of the steps leading to the airplane. It's also wonderful to have elves move the luggage and then make it reappear as needed. The drivers who carted us around were nice people and careful. All of the people with whom we interacted in Churchill were interesting and willing to share their stories.Accommodations in Churchill are simple and clean. Our stay at the Polar Inn was very comfortable. Beds were good. Hot water was hot. All the hotels used were close to each other and on the Main Street in a town of 850 people. Where else might you find a grocery store selling an ATV next to soda or flour?Churchill, much like Katmai National Park and other places, I am sure, has developed and enforces a bear and human policy where everyone is protected. There are polar bears who are gently encouraged to stay out of town and sometimes don't. You can hear the bears being hazed with noise when they come too close to town. An example might be, the dumpster for the building next door or walking down a street at 6am-for that example, the ring camera picked up the miscreant.Nothing is left to chance with NatHab. Meals are carefully timed and restaurant and menus are selected with a variety of choices. Food is always freshly prepared. Taste ranged from excellent to good and filling. There were thousands of belugas with calves, cousins, aunties and family members. Seals, not wanting to be left out, made appearances, also. Several male polar bears were spotted and observed from a safe distance. Getting in and out of the zodiacs is doable. I would like to have seen better use of maritime arm grips on the part of some of the staff. NatHab is not inexpensive. You are buying an experience, not just a trip.

Did their trip to Jackson Hole, Grand Teton & Yellowstone. Our tour directors, Jenn & Leigh were terrific. Very informative and professional, saw quite a bit of wildlife from their very comfortable pop-top MB Spritzers. Food during the lunch stops were surprisingly good, compliments to those two staff members Kadam & ??? Only complaints were that some, not all, of the rooms had no A/C or ceiling fans and in July it got very uncomfortable at those facilities; also, the meal at the Mammoth Hotel left lots to be desired by several of us. The Armoy Hotel at the end of the trip was the highlight of the hotel stays, nice way to end the trip.
