tripadvisorWe went here for the last 4 days of our holiday, the day we arrived the staff were so rude unhelpful made us sit in the carpark until bang on 4pm in 80 degree heat even after telling them we needed to refrigerate medication , When we got to the room the door entry system was faulty and dirty it looked like a prison cell, I side was dated old the carpets were sticky stains all over it was dark dingy the WiFi only works if you leave the door open, we had visted lots of hotels on our trip and was ok this one we were bit 7 times in one night, we spent the 1st night walking international drive looking for another hotel sadly it was autumn break most full, we contacted our travel agent who was useless so had to stay The sink was blocked only sink to wash pots wash ur hands from the toilet brush ur teeth so unhygienic, it seemed blocked with old food or vomit i wasnt sure, the only good thing was checking out and flying home, We paid a huge amount of cash for a dream trip this was not what we imagined.. We have since put in a complaint to our travel agents
Morethis place was amazing! the room was very clean to a high standard and i cannot fault the cleaners one bit! (i even took 0 photos of the rooms because i was so satisfied there’s nothing to report on) the value for money was great and just what we needed for busy days exploring and shopping. everyone was so lovely and friendly from the reception to the bar everyone had something nice to say and always had a smile on their faces! the location was perfect, a stones throw from eatery’s and plenty to do around the area for a chill day if parks aren’t all the things you want to do whilst on holiday! i would recommend this to anyone and will be returning in the future as i’m already saving to go again and do this all over again! thank you :))
MoreIt’s a shame to say that since Mr Rosen died the Rosen Inn at pointe has unfortunately gone down hill. After emailing the main office for Rosen resorts twice, I’ve still not had a response? I wrote weeks prior to our stay requesting block A lower level due to my walking disability and I was told at reception that they couldn’t do anything on that block and we were put on the 6th floor with only 1 lift working out of 4. No entertainment in the Zebra bar and we heard other guest saying about this. Rooms now changed twice a week now and restaurant is no longer available in the evening for dinners. We’ve always stayed here but unfortunately we’re thinking about staying at another hotel next year. Such a shame for a nice hotel it once was. Try and fix the canopy outside the building which still lets the hotel down.
MoreAfter being up for nearly 24 hours we arrived at the hotel with a young child and was met by the most Arrogant, receptionist I have ever had the pleasure to come across . never smiled once and rude but I was not going to let him spoil my 2 weeks here what can I say about this hotel the itself was very clean and very quiet of a night. The rest of the staff were lovely especially the staff in the bars who always had a smile whenever they seen you. The shop is expensive.tho pool was warm and clean loads of free pool towels as well .
MoreFor what we paid room was ok, most reasonable on I drive and no parking or resort fees, stayed here before and knew what we were getting 2 comfortable beds and a fridge and microwave were allGood. Things that have gone down hill since we stayed 3 years ago are…. Didn’t get the block or side we requested a couple Weeks before . Don’t stay i4 side it’s noisy. There was blood on 2 of the pillowcases, not mine so that’s gross! this meant I also knew they didn’t change the bedding in 2 weeks. They came in and made the bed twice a week But it was never changed for clean sheets. Had towels and bins emptied every day. Shower pressure is terrible very hard to get the shampoo out ofYour hair. Woke up the second morning and bathroom was flooded, water everywhere. Tried to tell us it was fromThe shower, no Apparently room Opposite had a blocked toilet so It all came out in ours so gross. No apology. No evening buffet anymore, breakfast buffet was terrible, we got 2 free with virgin but I certainly wouldn’t pay for it. No draft beer in the bar numerous nights not sure why. The prices in the bar on drinks and food have gone up at least double to 3 years ago and a service charge is now applied rather than u leaving your own tip. We used to go there for a cheap night but now it’s on par with other restaurants nearby. Gift Shop has a lot less in than last time. I feel like for the price it’s still ok but you can definitely tell They are trying to save money in certain areas and it sure shows. Used the free bus to universal but wasn’t asked if we wanted a return and we forgot to ask so not sure if there is still a return bus, we had to get an Uber. I may consider other hotels next time it will all Come down to price and reviews. Beds are comfy and we did sleepWell
