Every visit to Charleston, I visit the City Market. It is a great thing to wander thru, see all the different vendors. Good variety of items, especially jewelry.

Heard a lot of great things about the market so had to check it out. Great place with a lot of variety. Purchased a few gifts and some food. Great place to escape the heat or the rain

A must-see for Charleston. Huge variety of wares in both space with AC and open air. About 4 blocks of merchandise, with a good amount locally made. Browsed one morning and shopped the next.

We visited the Charleston Museum which was interesting and held historical information regarding Charleston's revolutionary and civil war involvement. I visited the African American Museum nearly two years ago and was impressed with the history of Africans, Gullah culture and influence of African Americans in Charleston. We visited Fort Sumter. It was my third visit and my partner's first. Somehow I missed the Museum until this visit. Interesting. The park rangers were exceptional historians. Great getaway.
