We missed our show. No refund. It saddens me to write this review. We have been to the Bucks County Playhouse before. This review isn't about the plays, or actors, but more about location of building and parking nightmare. We live local-ish to the Bucks County playhouse, which is in the center of New Hope on Main Street. Over the years, New Hope has gotten so crowded, that we don't go anymore. That being said, it brings me to the Parking Issue. We arrived an hour early knowing we might run into parking issues. Boy, did we ever. All lots, including the lots on side streets, and spots on streets all up and down were all taken. Nothing was available. The Playhouse parking lot was already so full an hour prior to the show that the cars were almost spilling out into the street. We drove around for an HOUR to look for parking. We were going to park out of new hope and Uber to the Playhouse, but that would not have worked either because the Uber would not have been able to get us there because traffic was so bad. We decided to cut our losses at this point, already being half hour late for show, and just say forget it. It was so frustrating. I highly suggest if Bucks County Playhouse wishes to keep it's customers, perhaps think of purchasing, or renting a parking lot further away and have shuttle buses. Or perhaps New Hope itself would want to look into some sort of pre paid parking like they have in downtown Philadelphia. Tickets are non refundable. And we did plan accordingly.

We have been seasons subscribers to The Papermill Playhouse in Milburn, New Jersey for over 30 years. This was our 1st show, South Pacific at Buck's County Playhouse. Spending the weekend at New Hope, also our 1st visit, play and dinner was my anniversary gift to my wife. We are accustomed to Broadway worthy productions, however, we were blown away by this presentation of South Pacific! The theater is smaller than Papermill, but perfect in that there are no Bad Seats. I attended using my motorized scooter , the staff was quite accommodating and friendly. Given the outstanding performances, we certainly hope to attend more shows in the future at Buck's County Playhouse. Living in New Jersey, we discovered that we are closer in distance to Buck's than we are to Papermill. If you are visiting New Hope for any reason, check out what's going on at the Playhouse.

Went to see South Pacific for my birthday. I didn't know what to expect from a local theatre but I really enjoyed it. Cast was great and keptMe interested thru the entire show. I challenge everyone to support the local arts. I already bought tickets for another show

We bought two tickets for the 2-1-26 performance of The Everly Brothers Experience. Shortly into the show, my wife became nauseous and left for the bathroom. Soon she was vomiting uncontrollably. The Playhouse staff could not have been more helpful and considerate. They were exceptional. While awaiting the return of our car from valet parking, one of the staff members volunteered to issue a full credit which will be able to enjoy at a future show. Another staff member immediately put on a coat to venture into the bitter cold to check on the status of our vehicle's return. This customer service, by several staff members, was exceptional. It helped greatly to make bad circumstances a little bit better. We look forward to a return to the Bucks County Playhouse on healthy terms!

Great location to see a play and have a wonderful day in New Hope. The play closely resembles the TV movie with Will Farrell. The main actor looks just like him. Unfortunately they didn’t sing Baby, It’s cold outside. We were geared up to sing along and it was omitted.
