tripadvisorWe had great time at concert. This is well run and the individuals working at this venue were friendly and helpful. Clean and looks newly renovated. Good acoustics! The parking was no problem and restaurant next door before concert very convenient.
MoreI saw Simon Phillips and Protocol in 2025. In addition to there not being a bad seat in the house, the sound was excellent. What most people overlook about the place is the staff - they're professional, friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to engage with. I've seen many shows there over the years, and would have seen many more, if not for the distance from my home. It's a wonderful, comfortable, cozy venue. I'm heading back in a few weeks to enjoy another great show. The restaurant next door is a treat, as well. Can't speak for the hotel, because it's beyond my budget. ;-)
MoreWe have been to many musical experiences and enjoyed the evening. This time we attended a comedy event (Jim Norton), preceded by 2 warm up “comics”. The warm up folks proceeded to bombard the audience with the most vulgar, obscene ranting collection of attempted comedy ( the female performer was the worst). Humor in detailed descriptions of sex acts? We don’t think so. Our group would have left, but decided to quietly wait for the main event hoping to salvage the night. Unfortunately, Norton’s performance was equally disappointing and vulgar. Never again.
MoreThe theater is a small, relatively comfortable venue. We were there to see The Yardbirds. The sound quality in the theater is very good. We were disappointed with The Cryers (opening act). When The Yardbirds actually played, they were awesome. Jim McCarty (original drummer) decided with the band to incorporate storytelling...way too much talking! Some of it was interesting, but we were there to hear music! The storytelling needs to be shortened to no more the 20 minutes. The small bar offers a small variety of drinks. The bartender was very nice!
MoreAnd no parking available on residential streets within 1/4 mile either. So plan to arrive at least an hour early to use one of the few parking spots out back. Or pay $10 more to park in the spaces they set aside to trap the uninitiated.Or better yet, avoid this place and instead go to New Hope Winery. Plenty of parking there and a lot closer to Philly than a ratty old mill town like Sellersville.I had to turn tight around and drive home. $75 wasted. Never again.
