Situated in the middle of the neighborhood between the Columbia and Willamette rivers, this medium-sized park has something for everyone. For those who prefer a lazy, shady and quiet park, there are plenty of areas in Northgate Park to get some serenity. For those into cheering crowds and heated games, there are fields and facilities for baseball, softball, soccer, football and tennis. The courts are lighted, and there is a playground for the kids.

Reviews
tripadvisorLove this park- shady in the tree lined walkway, small playground with water feature in the summer and big open field for running or playing.
MoreLots of Latino gangsters frequent this park. I’d advise staying away. The police are aware of this, but are understaffed, particularly in this part of town.
MoreNot a great park. Very crowded with soccer games on weekends. Also very adult soccer games in the run down tennis courts almost every evening. DO NOT bring your kids after about 7 pm. Gangs have also started shaking down single mothers and juveniles. There is a sharps disposal box on the back side of the school, so that should tell you a lot. Play structures are there some times. They are burned down frequently. Have fun.
MorePlayed a rugby match and had a social gathering here with about 80 friends from Seattle and Portland. Besides the grass rugby field, The facilities most people used were the portapotties. There is lots of space for other sports like soccer and football. I could not tell if the bathrooms were accessible at the time. I did not see anybody using them. We set up canopies and grilled along with some liquid refreshments. Parking was limited and you had to park in the neighborhood. It could have got a higher rating but noticed some questionable people hanging out in the parking lot as people were leaving.
