tripadvisorSeen a handful of performances that range from embarrassing to kind of okay. Depends totally on what residents happen to show up and audition I guess. The shows cost $5 and that's what you get. The seating is uncomfortable and the plays are usually poorly written, so even if there happens to be a decent actor, chances are you'll feel secondhand embarrassment from the scripts. I've seen them do a few shows that have erred on the side of political, and they're usually conservative in the most uncomfortable ways. Spend a little more and go see a better show at Barrington Stage.
MoreI saw a staged reading. An intimate venue and powerful performances. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
MoreTalented theatre troupe performing wonderful comedies, thought provoking drama. Professional caliber actors doing what they love!
MoreBased in The Whitney Building (The Whit) on Wendell Ave in Pittsfield, MA. The Town Players of Pittsfield is one of the longest continually operating community theaters in the Berkshires celebrating their 96th season! I have been to many performances at The Town Players over the last 7 or 8 years. The diversity of the productions is refreshing! Full blown productions, staged readings, Christmas variety shows, innovative new works! A must see when you're in town!
