This river begins where Lake Ontario ends, and do begins the archipelago of Thousand Islands! Hub Island is the smallest inhabited island, just enough room for a house! Dark Island named for all the trees, is home to Singer Castle. Beautiful area, 1864 islands!

Both the history and the beauty the St. Lawrence river has to offer is incredible. Definitely take the Thousand Island boat tour.

When you think of New York, you think of high tall buildings, heat, cars etc New York is a large area and this part of it, the st Lawrence river is breathtaking. We went to a wedding on boult island. What an experience ,! Nothing to compare with it. Stayed at a colonial bed and breakfast in sakis harbour, fantastic place. To tour around this area must be wonderful. Go. Take a trip and enjoy !
