The intimate Cafe Lombardy overlooks James Monroe Park. When the sun sets, the candlelit ambience makes it one of Washington's most romantic places to dine. Try an antipasto of Caviar, Smoked Salmon and Mascarpone with Olive-Caper Vinaigrette, with an entree of Cornmeal Crusted Trout over risotto. Then try the classic Italian Tiramisu, which has become an American favorite.

Reviews
tripadvisorExcellent Service and friendly staffs especially Mr. Wolde and the the front desk staff
MoreA very nice hotel in a landmark building. The staff were are terrific and accommodating. This is DC, so the price was nice for the area, and the location is central to most attractions.
MoreWow!! I never write reviews but talk about amazing staff in every way!! Good old fashion caring, and professional service! I’m in awe how they treat their customers. There was no detail they left untouched. I have allergies and they accommodated me in every way— no bleached sheets, no perfumes, no feathered pillows. Fabulous and friendly staff eager to help in any way — directions, restaurants, extended stay, late check out. And the gentleman who opens the door for every customer is an added touch of class! I will always stay at Hotel Lombardy!
MoreWe live locally in Virginia and use the Hotel Lombardy as our base when we spend a day or two in Washington. It is quiet, cozy and conveniently located. Advertised as a small European-style boutique hotel, it is just that. And in contrast to comparable hotels in the District, it is reasonably priced.
MoreAdmasu was a very helpful receptionist
