Dance Place DC is a haven for those who wish to express their bodies in the heavenly movements of all things dance. Various workshops for children and adults are set in motion each semester to develop a healthy heaping of coordination, flexibility and style. Dance Place DC also houses four resident dance companies which perform locally and globally. Known as a staple in the Brookland community, this organization benefits all of its participants with a healthy and fun way to culturally connect through movement.

We went to see Bowen-McCauley in performance here. Dance Place is tucked away near Catholic University, and it is best to get there early for the street parking. The small theater has great seats and, based on the TV monitor they had going, there are performances of all kinds there continually. The show we went to see was sold out both nights. There are some small restaurants within walking distance for before or after the show.
