MoreStayed @ Watergate for 5 nights while being tourists in DC and will recommend the hotel. Rooftop bar is stunning at sunset. Staff kind, responsive, attentive. The hotel has history like all of DC. It's an easy walk, convenient to Georgetown, and the Kennedy Center, a bit of a walk to the sites, but very doable. Bed was comfy, updated bathrooms quite nice...Has a CVS that came in handy in garage area.
MoreThe hotel was lovely, perfectly situated close to GW University and not far from the Mall and all the adjoining sights. I mostly want to thank Mesfin Asfaha, Chief Concierge for all his help in making arrangements for us before we arrived and afterwards. We had only two days to cover a lot of ground. He was personal, professional and knowledgeable, can’t ask for more than that in one person. We shall return!
MoreWe loved staying at the historic hotel, yet beautifully remodeled suite. The staff was super attentive to any request we had. Room service and the Kingbird were both exquisite. Pool temperature was perfect. Rooftop bar had amazing views and tasty flatbreads. Accessibility to sites was great for us as we enjoy walking, and the occasional scooter ride.
MoreCan't fault anything about the Watergate. Excellent service from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. Stunning room and views (river view room), Superb quality room with no faults I came across. Beautiful spacious bathroom. The small touches matter and they've thought of everything. Close to most sights and to shops.Very rare that I'm sad to leave a hotel but this time I wish I had longer to enjoy! Simply wonderful.
