The former Metlox Pottery grounds was converted about ten years ago to the Metlox Plaza. It is a wonderful place to sit and talk, let the kids play, have breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a huge outdoor fireplace, a water playscape, easy parking, and outdoor tables for public use. During times of the year there is also outdoor entertainment. We love it here and it brings back fantastic memories. We were there over the weekend at LePain and had a great breakfast with the family. Have a great time. @nickellfamilytravel

What’s nice about Metlox plaza is you have a few restaurants to choose from with an open area for small children to run around. It’s a small open plaza where small children can be free while you eat your meal and can keep an eye on them. If you do not have small children there is an area you can sit and have coffee or a smoothie and meet friends, there are some restaurants to have a romantic meal like Petros and Nicks with a spa and some shops close by.

It's sort of around the corner from every place else. Other worldly. You'll know what I mean when you find it. And you won't regret the effort. Find your nook, and settle in.

We walked around very little. We thought it would be bigger based on the description, but it's a small area. Unless you want to eat or go into some very expensive clothing stores, there is little of interest there, in my opinion.

This Plaza was built when Metlox Pottery was town down many years ago. They restaurants and retail shops are excellent.
