tripadvisorThe Laurel Railroad Station has been in use for nearly 140 years, first as part of the groundbreaking Baltimore and Ohio Railroad system, and now serving a busy commuter population heading to either Baltimore or Washington. The historic marker explains that the red brick station is built in the American Queen Anne style and was placed on the National Historic Register 50 years ago. It is not surprising that there is good parking and easy ramp access. It is important that historical landmarks continue to play a role in modern society.
MoreI enjoyed the Nostalgia of this Railroad Station. Make sure to hold on to the kids hands tight. The train comes past Super fast.!!
MoreWhen we went there, it was closed. It's only open certain hours- I guess when the trains are going to be there. We looked through the windows, not too much to see but it is historical. Our son in law uses the station to take the train into DC to work (before covid). There's a big parking lot which is nice.
MoreWhen you have to pick someone up at a train station it is nice to be close to it. This place has tons of close parking.
MoreYou need to buy tickets at a machine, so you can't get the senior discount, and you need to wait outside. The parking lots are large and well used. The platform and area are clean and well lit.
