Definitely not an antiquing destination….more an architectural salvage and recycled building/remodeling destination. I used to pop in every six months or so…now that I bought a home in fed hill I’m there whenever the mood strikes me. I will say going more frequently has afforded me a few treasures.Hit the jackpot…got two of these for $210! . Retail $1700. Definitely worth the trip.
MoreAmazing place! I am renovating a historic rowhouse in Frederick, MD and have bought a ton of stuff here! Kitchen cabinets, furniture, wood molding, artwork, flooring… great place and people! Pro tip- they will typically negotiate at least 10% off the ticket price!! Bring a sweater, sometimes it’s chilly in the warehouse…
MoreBrought an item and came back to pick it up and it was SOLD again to someone else. Employees and I were looking for the item because it appeared not to be SOLD again. The same person who SOLD it to me turned around and SOLD it again despite no one else knew but the Employee who sold it to me.
MoreVery cool place. Helpful staff. Does job training for people who have faced employment barriers. Store is 250k square feet!
MoreThis place has it all! They take homes apart and sell what they reclaim along with other donated items, all to give people with employment challenges vocational training. The store is not climate controlled, so be prepared. Pet friendly, though. And one of the most unique second hand stores around....
