I have went to at least 15 shows there and they have the best sound system on the gulf coast it makes your hair move I have saw ICP,tech9, Otep, testament, Otep again, Bucket head just to name a few who ever said you don't get refund on a canceled show is bull that Alice in chains cover band was real bad

Vinyl gets a low grade for hiring a junkie to entertain us. Alice In Chains tribute band Nutshell was a total train wreak. Sound, looks, acts like crap. 45 mins late, and thank god they quit early. Junkie was such a mess, I’m sure he’s convinced himself, he did nothing wrong. They do that you know.

Other than being herded like cattle and standing for 2.5 hours, the sound was very good. I read that the venue holds 850 people, yet the area on the second floor that holds metal folding chairs for us oldsters is very small, maybe 12-15 chairs. We gladly paid an extra $50 per person to be able to sit down, but you better hurry as it’s first come, first served. They could put tables and chairs there, and have servers bring you your drinks. But no, it’s low rent.

The Vinyl will take gladly take your money. No customer service. No refunds even on canceled shows..

If you want an up close and personal live music experience - this is your place! We have seen several shows there and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!
