Cox Point Park is designed not just for recreation but also as ecological protection for the Back River Watershed. The park is on a neck of land with well maintained lawns and plenty of picnic tables and grills. People were fishing off the piers and were actually catching fish. Families were relaxing. Large colorful playsets are available. There is plenty of parking. The views are refreshing.
