tripadvisorLocated in the historic district on East Patrick Street, this building from 1918 takes up a lot of the block, with an entrance on South Carroll Street also. With room after room of interesting items, we found a nice piece for our living room wall and enjoyed for an hour or so walking thru the complex. We saw a mirror listed that was said to have been a gift to King George III as well as surprisingly a fantastic selection of books. I felt like I had wondered into Barnes & Noble. The staff at the Emporium couldn't have been any nicer. You will find a wide range of items here.
MoreVery big place with a lot of high quality items. Prices were a bit high. Spend 1 to 2 hours if you like looking.
MoreThis is a must-see for anyone coming to visit historic Frederick. Three connected big rooms of high quality antiques. Something of interest for everyone. My wife and I spent several hours here. The staff are delightful to work with, suggesting where to find specific items. Restaurants are nearby if you need a break. You can park nearby at a garage with inexpensive parking. Best to visit the official visitor center and they will give you a map of the town. Thank you and we will be back.
MoreThis is a wonderful store to browse in while visiting Downtown Frederick. All of the merchandise is top quality and there are many great deals, even on antiques. The store is very neat and the staff is friendly. There is a loading area near the back of the store that makes it very easy to pick up any purchases of furniture or large items. Everytime I visit I find a lot of new items.
MoreMy family members always want to go through this place when they come to visit Frederick. It is a large indoor flea market like place but the quality of the stuff is much higher. There are over 100 stalls for various vendors. Prices are shown and don't seem to be easily negotiated. but there are many great deals to be found in so many categories.
