What a wonderful way to see local artists work. It was fun to go and wander around the galleries and do some of the crafts set out for the kids.

Loved our visit to this art center. It’s small but had several exhibits and it was essy to navigate. I would defibately return to see future exhibits.

This small art museum and educational center is spread across a couple buildings and includes about 4 gallery spaces and two programmed stair cases with historical information. Most of the gallery space was dedicated to student art from the local schools (much of which was pretty impressive). The stairways had fairly generic, but interesting information about the history of the building and Frederick and the history of art. There was also quite a lot of space dedicated to offices and classrooms, a small, interesting gift shop of local art, and an event hall. The center is free to visit and benefited from the service of a very friendly and helpful person at the front desk. While clearly focused more on art education than professional art, a visit was a worthwhile diversion for an hour.
