Stopped by after spending the day in Corpis Christi. Nice park, large spaces for camping and cookouts/picnics. Tables and grills available. Beautiful waterway. Only negative is no restrooms.

Avoid this place in the Spring/Summer if you dont have bug spray. They could spray and the cut the grass more often. OK fishing but have your license the game warden pops in sometimes

We go here a lot to fish love the park and the fish is great too. I can spend all day here there is a lot of tree so you can sit under the trees and enjoy the weather

My husband and I stopped at Labonte Park on a Friday morning. There were a few fisherman. The park has about 20 picnic tables. The restroom building appeared to be closed for a long time. A creek follows along 2 sides of the park. Could use some mowing. It is a large road side park.
