Monocacy Crossing American Restaurant ·$$

Located on the outskirts of the city, accessibility is not one of Monocacy Crossing's strong points. But the restaurants popularity proves that people are willing to make an effort and travel the distance for a good dining experience. It would be quite easy to mistake the cozy looking house in which the restaurant sits, for a private residence if not for the prominent sign up front. Enter inside, and the atmosphere gets much more cozier and welcoming. Warm red hues dominate the dining room and the subdued lighting gives it a comfortable, almost homely feel. On offers is a fantastic selection of contemporary American specialties that's bound to delight one and all. Steaks and seafood receive good representation on the menu while creations like 'Red Miso Glazed Salmon over Purple Sticky Rice' warrant a try. A choice of salads prove to be good accompaniments. The wine list is well-chosen and offers some great options from California as well as other regions like France, Italy and Germany. Sit out at the large outdoor area for a delightfully casual meal.
