Civic Center Mall is not a shopping mall but a wonderful piece of grassland that covers 20 acres (8.093 hectares) and is famous for hosting cultural events. Gather the gang, pack those sandwiches and head here to soak up some Arizonian sun. The Civic Center Mall shares lime light with Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, The City Hall and Civic Center Library amongst others. An ideal place to spend time outdoors while staying close to most of the city's offerings. Call ahead for rental information.

Reviews
tripadvisorFor a suburb, this complex is quite impressive with water features and fountains, as well as very large official buildings. This is where the government work takes place. Not interesting to the tourist, but important to local citizens.
MoreThis area is worth a walk. Buildings are nicely layed out and there are wonderful sculptures - many western ones, but also Indiana's famous LOVE sculpture. The general landscape, garden, is lovely.
MoreThe stadium is small enough so you get to see the game from may angles and from all the seats (and the lawn too). I sat behind the visitors dugout and loved the seats, although they were so hot, I might have burned myself. Very little shade and no charcoal grilled hotdogs, just the roller dogs.
MoreI like the Scottsdale Civic Center. It is beautiful with water. The City Hall had made a beautiful place to enjoy for everyone, There were many fountains. There were also beautiful flowers mixes with other flowers. This is a must! Wow!
MoreThe Civic Center Mall area used to be filled with fountains. Not so much anymore. After many years, the fountains needed almost constant repairs, so most were ripped out and replaced with landscaping. Still a nice place to take a walk or take part in many of the weekend activities hosted here.
