We enjoyed our time here at the factory. The timing didn't work out for us to go on the behind-the-scenes tour, but we were given an informal tour of the showroom, and we really enjoyed it. If you are an American Art Pottery fan, this is a special place to visit and see some truly beautiful works of art!

I found the tour to be boring. We were given a lot of information by the guide but didn’t see much actual work. We peaked through the window at the design team and one painter working. No idea what she was painting because she had her back to us blocking the view. In the cast room everything was in molds and drying while the employees sat around on their phones. We also did not see a kiln where the pottery was fired. The only work we could observe was 2 people glazing. If you want a walking tour of the building and information provided by a guide this would be fine but when a tour is billed as a behind the scene look I expected more. I would not necessarily recommend this tour.

We took the Rookwood Pottery factory tour with Makayla. It was fantastic. We learned so much. And our tour ticket also included a discount at the factory retail shop.

The line to get in was long in the AM. The goods for sale were great. The $25 boxes of pieces are great for folks in the art world , what a great thing.

I wish there was more than one location. The OTR factory & store is beautiful & so amazing around the holidays. The staff really loves their job & everyone is happy to help. I go at least once a year to the shop.
