Our Salvation Army Thrift Store provides used furniture, adult and children’s clothing and shoes, appliances, records, tapes, books, videos, golf equipment, artwork, toys, kitchen utensils, lamps, televisions, knick-knacks, and many other items. All of these items are available to the public at reasonable prices. Store revenue helps fund the missions and programs of The Charlottesville Salvation Army. The stores also assist people going through difficult times due to homelessness, domestic violence, or other trying circumstances by providing gifts-in-kind. Individuals or families in need may apply for help through the social services office at The Salvation Army’s main office +1 (434)295-4058 to obtain vouchers for furniture and clothing at no charge.
