We attended the Vigil Mass for the Feast of the Assumption. It was beautiful. The altar boys were excellent - reverent in their conduct, hands folded, reciting the prayers; the choir was beautiful in song; and the priest was most reverent and traditional.

If visiting Charlottesville and you are into churches, would be nice to poke in. Easy parking on the street.

Lovely. Smaller church but wonderful community. Welcoming and loving. Very open to community service.

Holy Comforter Church has a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. Small compared to the two other Catholic churches in town, it includes a side chapel for small children who may need to move around or make little noise. There is often a mix of travelers and residents, everyone is made to feel welcome.

Located in the Historic District of downtown Charlottesville. On street parking can be hard to find.
