Cones every year to Plant City. Fun place to ride the rides if you like them. They have a few shows. Of course everyone goes to the fair for fair food. You can buy tickets early in Publix or just buy at the gate(wait time is longer). You can come and go but got to get stamped if you have to leave and return later that day. Nice kids rides for the little ones. Check out their homemade competition things from quilts to cake to pictures and etc. You can ride a scooter through there but there are also grassy dirt areas you make not . Plenty for everyone. Either you can buy strawberry shortcake ready or there is a build your own strawberry shortcake too. Since Florida is hi polar check the weather. It could be a hot Feb day or a cold one or a rainy one. So plan accordingly

This is a gigantic annual Event in Plant City. There are numerous Carnival rides, games, food vendors, displays, craftsfair and top named concert venue. It definitely has something for everyone at any age. Obviously, the main thing to try is the various ways to eat strawberries. Fresh from a bushel, smothered in chocolate or covered in cream, in a donut or shortcake. You will not be disappointed.

Besides the surprise parking catastrophe, we showed up later thinking the crowds should be gone. Paid 80 bucks a piece for a concert at the arena, then 20 bucks to park and 30 bucks to get into the most crowded dirty and not fun fair The concert was a dry concert, no drinks in there and you couldn't leave and come back. They were selling 3 dollar bottles of water around there but that was it, no soda, food or drinks. The seating was terrible and crammed next to so many people. Just not a great place to watch a concert. Not worth the money and the patience trying to get in and out of there.

Parking is the first big hit of the day , Really $20.00 to park on a dusty parking lot. The cars where parked so close together you had to squeeze out of you car door!!!! Thanks for dings on my car, people could not help, there doors hitting your car. Another $15.00 at the gate!!! $35.00 bucks and I haven’t done anything . Surely, this festival could be made more neighborly hood friendly !! Drink prices are ridiculous the profit on water and dry mixes drink are definitely a 300% mark up. Food is overpriced bought a cheese steak sandwich, it was COLD ,cheese was not real cheese , the meat was cold a tough!!! If these prices are going to be charged at least provide hot food!!! Thank you to the egg roll vender ,for the first hot food. I realize the long hours.,these venders are at the fair , Thank YOU! to all of you. To the planners at this festival, you need a change in Parking and gate fees to make it an enjoyment not a burden for families . Also , the entertainment was good, John Foster show , should have been advertised that he had entertained on America Idol, and scheduled at night to bring in the younger people. This young man put on a great show and the grand stands should have been full. Love the patriotism , shown thru out the festival!!

Steer clear and save your money. $20.00 to park and no handicap parking. Food is off the charts expensive and the vibe is not strawberries, more like a greed race.
