Linden Row Inn Hotel

Linden Row Inn is a 70-room boutique historic hotel located in the heart of Downtown Richmond. The hotel is comprised of seven row houses built in the mid-1800’s, and meticulously restored over the years. The hotel’s guest rooms are furnished with antiques from the 19th Century, and the hotel is proud to be featured on the National Registry of Historic Places. Edgar Allan Poe spent his childhood playing in the garden that is now the hotel’s garden courtyard, and local legend has it that the property is home to the "enchanted garden" that Poe mentions in his poem "To Helen."

Great location and we really enjoyed our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms quiet and perfect for our family. We enjoyed the cat who lives at the inn.

The Linden Row Inn was wonderful. It had the historic charm we were looking for with upgraded amenities. Was a very quiet room and the hotel was walkable to downtown. We also walked to the Civil War Museum from there so didn't need to hasle with the care. Parking was not on sight but reasonable price for 24 hours. Was easy to find place to eat and they had some great recommendations. We will stay there again if in Richmond area.

Quaint Inn in a lovely setting. Staff are friendly and very responsive and helpful. My wife had a desire for a specific room type (windows in both the main room and bathroom) and they flawlessly accommodated our request.

Although we grew up in Richmond, we barely knew Linden Row and had never stayed there. We are very glad we took the chance to spend a night. The room was in the Garden area and was a comfortable size. A nice wardrobe took the place of a closet. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom worked well. One thing: the bathroom sink needs a screen to catch stray jewelry. Service was friendly. We will return!
