tripadvisorNot much here - small quiet outdoor mall with stores that cater towards higher end things. Very dog friendly with a skating rink
MoreI love this mall for it’s layout, the awesome Cinnebistro theater, and immense potential. It’s a great place to take the dog and walk around and window shop. I don’t really buy much at the more high end stores, but for a date night, this has been a great option. I hope new ownership will get clearance for the open container policy in the mall and will create new events to help continue to bring people in!
MoreThis mall has MANY vacant storefronts. So you might think that wall management might be responsive to a customer who needed to reach them. But that is not the case. When I tried to speak to mall management about an issue while in the mall, I went to the mall office 10 minutes before the posted close of business. The glass doors to the office were closed. So I knocked. A person sitting behind a desk was clearly visible on the other side of the glass doors. Yet she did not respond. I knocked a few more times, thinking she might have heard me the first time. Still no response at all. I then realized that she was not going to acknowledge a mall customer needing to speak to mall management before the close of businesd. So I then went to a mall tenant/shop owner. She tried calling mall management with no answer. She even tried calling mall security, again no answer. She gave me the number. I tried calling mall management and could not reach a live person. All of this was occurring a couple minutes before the management office closed and while the mall itself was open for several more hours. As I told the tenant, this would have been a really, really bad situation if I or another mall visitor was having a medical or other emergency. As a result, I did not go into any more stores and will not spend any money buying things here. The lack of responsiveness from the mall management was really troubling, to say the least. In economic times like this, one would think the mall would go out of its way to be responsive to a customer needing something. So, I will not be shopping here and I will not be patronizing restaurants here.
MoreWhile in the area I stopped in a few times during one week…. This is one of only two locations in VA with a Tiffany retail store. Service at this Tiffany is always the best of any other I’ve been to. The mall itself has some very nice restaurants as well, like Fleming’s and PF Changs. I love walking around this outdoor mall on a nice day and seeing all the dogs, as it’s a very dog-friendly place. It’s somewhat easy to get to from 95 and definitely easy to get to from Richmond. Highly recommend this place for those looking for a great variety of higher-end shopping.
MoreWalked around after early dinner at P.F. Chang’s reviewed separately. A warm Tuesday evening for February very few people around really don’t understand how stores stay open if this was normal. High end stores the ones we went in friendly staff. Some construction going on so hopefully more stores to come.
