Established in 1989, Marian Manor is a nondenominational, nonprofit retirement community that is sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Richmond and offers four levels of assisted living care. It operates a sister facility, Our Lady of Perpetual Help's Nursing Center and the Christopher Center, which offers specialized Alzheimer's disease, dementia, extensive assisted living and nursing care services. The facility s nursing center provides assistance with personal care and medication management. In addition, it provides opportunities for residents to participate in a variety of activities, such as gardening, crafts making and other professionally planned activities.
