DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOUNG TO THIS BEACH! The drive from Gloucester on 64 was horrible ! I nearly had an accident when attempting to exit for the beach due to a reckless driver who was in my backseat. On my way down to the beach I was pulled over by a rent a cop who accused me of going over the speed limit. I was doing 30 MPH. Cop wrote Failed to obey highway sign on the summons and informed me I was going 11 miles over the limit. I have no idea what highway sign was he was referring to. I didn't see a sign saying the limit was 20 MPH. The roads are horrible and the surrounding neighborhood is sketchy.

We had a wonderful time at Buckroe Beach. We loved the uncrowded beach. Parking is so close by and free. We also enjoyed going to see the Carousel. I enjoyed seeing it again since I rode the Carousel as a small child and enjoyed the amusement park and beach then as well. We all enjoyed the Air Power Park as well. The Casemate Museum was very interesting as well.

I love the beach in off season. So peaceful. I witness a beautiful baptism and also saw a school of dolphin. The boardwalk is beautiful. Plenty of places to sit. Great swings. Great for a family or solo. Handicap accessible

Quiet beach for just chilling out and fishing from the piers. Bicycle path avaialble. Bathrooms. Simple and relaxing way to spend some time.

The beach was amazing! All day in the sun and great waves and sand and fun. Take the time to spend a day at the beach. Saturday had a market and singing lots of things to do and see.
