The Beechwood Pool is part of the Beechwood Recreation Association. We are a private community organization that is run by volunteers for the benefit of the neighborhoods in the Denbigh area of Newport News, Virginia. Our facility includes a five lane swimming pool (with a shallow end and a well with a diving board), two lighted tennis courts, a wading pool for young children, and a clubhouse that can be rented out for private events and parties. The Beechwood Recreation Association has a children's competitive swim team, and holds several social events for its members durning the season. The swimming pool is open from Memorial Day through September. The clubhouse is open year round for rental and community events. Membership information can be obtained by calling (757) 874-4634.
