This is local community theater at its best. The ticket prices are low and the shows are well done and fun. The big secret is if you attend on opening night, they have wine, punch and food so you can eat, drink and visit with the cast and crew.

We really like everything about this place. The intimate theater space, the low ticket price, the energetic cast, and the variety of popular shows, all contribute to the experience. We recently enjoyed bring a first time couple with us to see You Can't Take It With You; they are now fans.

We decided to go see this twisted murder mystery comedy on opening night tonight and enjoyed every moment. The set was lovely, the cast was charming, the play, which was written by a Roanoke native, was amusing and the director did an outstanding job. It has been years since I had been to Showtimers but we will be back often through the 2016 season. This community theatre has been a part of Roanoke sine the early 1950's. It seats less than a 100 in comfortable seating, it makes for a most delightful, affordable evening out. We sincerely enjoyed the play, the people and the bones of this great community masterpiece. I would certainly recommend taking the time to enjoy and support this little jewel.

Excellent play! Loved the quaint theater. The actresses were very good. Probably the best directed version of the play I've ever witnessed. I will definitely be going to see other shows.

We saw Oklahoma and loved it. The performers were very professional and the singing was spot on. It was a very enjoyable evening out and the price was a bargain. A great place to spend an evening.
