We had a wonderful experience when my family stayed at Graylyn. We chose the the Traditions Package because a tour was included. Kathleen lead our tour and It was excellent!

It was a great easy location if you’re near the Triad. Food and service are excellent. Was it worth the price tag? Maybe. Something I’ll do once.

Staying at the Graylyn is a one-of-a-kind exquisite experience. Listed as part of the Historic Hotels in the United States, the time there is both present day and a nod to the past of the best of Southern charm. If you want to have a special space for wedding, anniversary, or to celebrate you and the gift of life, book a stay at the Graylyn. And all of their proceeds sponsor scholarships at Wake Forest University. A Beautiful Situation!!

As a solo traveler, I was attracted to the spa package online. When you click the Book Now it brings up a lovely picture of the Manor House lodging, a gorgeously appointed room with a green bed, mahogany walls, and description of painted bathtubs. The package includes a $150 spa gift card. I called the Estate prior to booking to make sure that I understood the room I was getting and the spa package and the price of $279. It seemed too good to be true, but after asking the guest host more than once, she confirmed. When I checked in, I got a basic Super 8 style room. I was disappointed, but whatever, I chalked it away to the fact that I would have a lovely spa experience the next morning. When I received my email receipt yesterday, I was charged $559. So, not only was I charged $300 more than quoted, but I also got an economy hotel-style room. I called multiple times yesterday, and no one answered the phone. I sent an email outlining the issue, and have yet to receive a response.

Wonderful hotel and the staff was excellent. We were there for a wedding which was beautiful (as was the bride). The room was perfect, thank you.
