We have been annual subscribers for years and the performances never disappoint. Subscriptions make it easy to stay informed and swap nightly performances. The performances usually run between 90-120 minutes in length. The set designs are second to none and always make you feel that you have a front-row seat to a premiere movie performance.

We have been season subscribers to Playmakers for 46 years. Acting is always excellent. Choice of plays not always a favorite but worth watching. This year- 2025--26 was one of the best seasons for acting and choice of plays. . A young man in the profressional training program as a leading role was so good in one play that I couldn't believe he had not been on Broadway.

A night at PlayMakers is always a fun and entertaining experience. There's a great mix of students, professors, and the local community. The vibe is academic, but it's also full of soul and thoughtfulness. Prices are very affordable, and the box office team will make the experience a breeze for you -- just tell them what you need. The thrust stage is also a treat, often giving a new perspective on classic material.

One of our favorite activities in Chapel Hill is attending the PlayMakers Repertory Company productions. PlayMakers is a gem! We have been season tickets patrons for many years and we are never disappointed. The productions are top notch.

Playmakers presents excellent plays that are both timely and timeless. The actors are very professional and the sets are always extraordinary. You will be very impressed with the quality performances!
