My girlfriend and I along with another couple participated in an escape room and followed with some great food and good drinks. If it would've been later in the week, we would have most definitely stayed a bit longer but beings it was a tues night and shooters was closed, we decided to go home rather early. I would most def recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and cheap strong drinks.

My self and two friends attended the Bull City Rumble Vintage Motorcycle show, 9-5-2015 on Main St in uptown Durham NC. A little before mid afternoon hunger came calling. A quick look around told us there were a handful of bar & grill type places nearby, we decided to give Devine's on W Main St a second try. Our attempt at eating here last year, during the same event, resulted in failure . . . In 2014 during the Bull City Rumble we walked into a packed Devine's Bar & Grill and were allowed to sit and chat quietly among ourselves for over 20 minutes without our food order ever being taken. We were served our tea, which turned out to be free since we gave up and walked out in desperation after being told repeatedly that someone would be with us in a moment. Pretty good tea . . . This year when I suggested we try Devine's again, one of my friends pointed out that we tried it last year with no success. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, after all they were packed last year, let;s cut them some slack. This year on Saturday 9-5-15 they were by no means overly crowded, in fact considering the busy festival going outside, there wasn't much of a crowd at all. After our drink order was taken, we were told several times that someone would be with us shortly . . . (dejaju?) To make a short story shorter, after being told that they didn't anticipate the crowd (come on guys, there's a Bike Show going on in your front yard!) we decided that 20 minutes of waiting with only our drink order having been taken was enough, especially considering this was the second time! So we walked out, went across the street to Satisfaction and had a great lunch!

Gross food and smelly bar. I think I might have gotten a mild case of good poisoning from here. Never going back
