tripadvisorVery good, I was here last year, some very original items, though I did not get anything on this trip. There are some shops along this area that carry some real nice, not junkie stuff . If you are at the casino it's worth driving down this area and even down town Cherokee. Hours do vary depending on the season
MoreLovely shop. Many items were priced high, but the quality was worth the price. So many things I wanted, I hope to come back next time to buy more. Also, in the park behind the shop we saw 15-20 elk! They were just hanging out and we were able to stop and get some pictures.
MoreThis gift shop was one of my favorite pit stops during my visit to Cherokee, NC. Unlike many other tacky, thrown together shops this store is very neat, with lots of holistic and handmade items that capture the true essence of what Native American heritage is supposed to include. While many items were expensive, they also have a good selection of affordable pieces such as handmade pipes, jewelry, books, T-shirts, stickers, and more. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!
MoreOne of three or four real Native American gift shops where you can purchase authentic Native American crafts. Everything from wood carvings, drums, paintings, T-Shirts, Kachina Dolls and more. Check it out you’ll be glad you did.
MoreWe visit Cherokee almost every year, and this is the first shop we go to. The merchandise is first-rate; they have the best quality T-shirts on the reservation, and their other merchandise is of the finest quality. I always buy several of the carved wooden bears by Charlie Reed, which I use during the making of Native American Style flutes, as they are very popular additions. I've spoken personally with the owners, who are very good people who are quite kind. All-in-all, this is a Cherokee must-see!
